Blue Notes speaks in mood, memory, and rhythm.
The language of music is never limited to sound. It can live in color, repetition, gesture, and the spaces between one movement and the next. Larry Poncho Brown brings that sensibility to this work, offering a visual encounter with the feeling of a blue note.
For collectors who recognize music as part of the story of Black visual culture.
